Security boost for Dr Narong's house and health ministry
보건부 및 나롱(Narong)박사 가택 보안강화

THE PUBLIC HEALTH Ministry will ask police to boost security at the home of its top official after an M-79 grenade attack on Sunday night, Dr Buncha Kakong, director of the ministry's central administration office, said.
보건부는 일요일 밤 M -79 유탄발사기 공격을받은 고위직 관료 가택에 대하여 보안을 강화해줄것을 경찰에 요청할 것이라고 보건부 중앙행정국장 분차(Buncha Kakong) 박사가 말했다.

Police would be asked to make more frequent patrols by the home of permanent secretary Dr Narong Sahametapat in Lak Si district. The move would also benefit residents of other homes in the area, he said.
(방콕) 락씨(Lak Si)구 소재의 보건부 사무차관 나롱박사 가택을 자주 순찰하도록 경찰에 요청할 것이다. 이 조치는 그 지역 주민들의 안전에도 도움이 될 것이라고 분차씨가 말했다.
Meanwhile, Dr Narong said: "The public can look at the incident and think for themselves what caused the attack. I won't talk about politics [being the motive behind it]." He was speaking to reporters at the ministry as he came to work at the ministry as usual.
한편, 나롱박사는 "대중은 이 사건을 보고 공격의 원인이 무엇인지 스스로 생각 할 수 있다. 나는 정치[드러나지않은 동기]에 대해 이야기 하고싶지 않다." 그는 평소와 같이 관청에 근무하러 나온길에 기자들에게 말했다.
The home of Dr Narong was hit at about 11pm with a grenade attack but no one was harmed. Narong was not at home at the time of attack.
나롱박사의 집은 대략 밤 11시에 유탄발사기 공격을 받았지만, 피습당시 집에 없었기에 인명피해는 없었다.
A 40mm grenade fired at his house hit a wall, causing a 10cm wide hole, damage to a parked car and slight damage to the property.
40mm 유탄은 그의 집 담장에서 폭발하여, 10cm 크기의 구멍을 내고 주차되어있던 차량과 건물에 경미한 손상을 입혔다. .
Explosives Ordnance Disposal commander Pol Colonel Kamthorn Uichairoen said the grenade was likely to have been fired from a launcher in a direct trajectory - not in the usual projectile manner, from near the entrance of Soi Chaeng Wattana 14, where the house is located.
폭발물처리반 지휘관 깜톤( Kamthorn Uichairoen) 경정은 '유탄은 통상적인 (곡선)발사방법이 아니라, 해당주택이 자리한 쨍왓타나 소이14 근처에서, 탄도발사기로부터 직통(직선)으로 발사되어 폭발한 것 같다'고 발표했다.
Narong is known for opposing the caretaker Yingluck government. His latest act of defiance was his refusal to take part in a meeting of permanent secretaries last week called by the government's anti-protest operation, known as the Centre for the Administration of Peace and Order (CAPO).
나롱씨는 잉락정부 반대파 인물로 알려져있다. 그의 최근의 저항은 CAPO(평화질서관리센터)로 알려진 정부의 반저항기관의 요청으로, 지난주에 있었던 사무차관급회의에 참석을 거부한 것이다.
He has seemed to support the anti-government campaigns led by Suthep Thaugsuban.

He warmly welcomed Suthep and held talks with him recently when Suthep led protesters to the ministry.

Dr Buncha said safety measures would also be upgraded at the ministry. After 7pm, people and vehicles would only be allowed in and out through one gate. Every vehicle would be checked and people asked for their identity card. Some 20 more security cameras would be set up inside the ministry compound, he said.
분차박사는 부처의 안전대책이 업그레이드 될것이라고 말했다. 오후 7시 이후, 사람과 차량의 이동은 단 하나의 게이트를 통해 허용될 것이다. 모든 차량은 검문될 것이며, 사람들은 신분증을 제시해야 할 것이다. 청사구내에 약 20대 이상의 보안카메라가 설치 될 것이라고 그는 말했다.
A deputy spokesman for Pheu Thai Party, Anusorn Iamsa-ard, condemned the attack and people benefiting from it. He called on anyone who "led their organisations to show off political stances that were their own and different from the majority" to stop doing it.
프어타이당의 아누선(Anusorn Iamsa-ard) 부대변인은 그 공격과 그로인해 혜택을 받을 사람들을 비난했다. "대중의 생각과 다른 그들만의 정치적 입장을 표현하기위해 각자의 조직을 이끌고있는" 관련자 모두에게 멈추어 줄것을 당부했다.
"Such expression of political stances is not fair for all ministry officials," he said.
"이런식의 정치적 입장표현은 모든 고위직 공무원들에게 공정한 것이 아니다"라고 말했다.
Narong has been lauded by the majority of doctors and medical professionals at government hospitals for his stance against the Pheu Thai-led government. But government hospitals that posted anti-corruption banners became targets of intimidation by pro-government red shirts.
프어타이당 주도의 정부에 반대하는 나롱씨의 입장은 정부운영병원들 대다수의 의사와 의료전문가들로부터 찬성받아왔다. 그러나 부패방지 배너를 게시했던 정부운영병원들은 친정부 붉은셔츠의 위협 대상이 되었다.
Today, a group of public health officials will gather at 10am in front Narong's office to give moral support, Dr Buncha said.
'오늘, 오전 10시에 보건부처 공무원들 한 그룹이 정신적 지원을위해 나롱씨 사무실 앞에서 모일것' 이라고 분차박사가 전했다.
